This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) constitutes a legally binding, enforceable, and operative agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Local Uncle, a product, brand, and operational initiative of Kvantum Tech, having its principal place of business in Chandigarh, India, hereinafter collectively and interchangeably referred to as “Local Uncle”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”.

This Policy governs, regulates, and describes in detail the manner in which Local Uncle collects, receives, accesses, stores, processes, retains, verifies, shares, transfers, discloses, safeguards, archives, deletes, and otherwise handles personal data, sensitive personal data, technical data, usage data, device data, and non-personal information of individuals who access, browse, install, register on, interact with, download, or otherwise use the Local Uncle website and/or mobile application, including any features, tools, functionalities, or services made available thereon (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

  • Government-issued identification documents, including but not limited to Aadhaar card and one additional valid government-recognized identity document, which is mandatory for service providers and may be requested from users where necessary

Clarification and Financial Data Disclaimer: As of the effective date of this Policy, Local Uncle does not collect, process, store, retain, or handle any payment-related information, including but not limited to bank account details, credit card numbers, debit card details, UPI information, or other financial data. Should this position change in the future, this Policy shall be updated accordingly.

1.2 Automatically Collected and Technical Information

In addition to personal information, Local Uncle may automatically collect, generate, or receive certain technical, operational, and usage-related information when you access or use the Platform. Such information may include, without limitation:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address and network information
  • Device identifiers, hardware model, and unique device signals
  • Operating system name, version, and configuration
  • Browser type, browser version, and language preferences
  • Application usage metrics, interaction logs, and feature engagement data

  • Conducting identity verification and internal validation of service providers
  • Facilitating communication, coordination, and interactions between users and service providers
  • Operating, maintaining, improving, enhancing, modifying, and optimizing the Platform and its features
  • Communicating with users through SMS, WhatsApp, email, push notifications, in-app messages, or other electronic or digital communication channels
  • Detecting, preventing, investigating, and addressing fraud, abuse, misuse, unauthorized activity, security incidents, or violations of policies

Local Uncle expressly reserves the right to aggregate, anonymize, de-identify, or otherwise transform collected data such that it no longer identifies an individual, and to use such data for analytics, research, business intelligence, or strategic purposes without restriction.

3. DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION
